The Center for Professional Advancement (CfPA) is holding a three day course titled Aerosol Technology July 20-23 at the Heldridge Hotel in New Brunswick, NJ.
The course is designed to cover the major aspects of aerosol technology and to instruct attendees in the successful formulation of aerosols for use in personal care, household, automotive, paint, food, industrial and insecticide products.
Aerosol industry veteran and SPRAY Technical Editor Montfort Johnsen will be teaching the course, along with guests Robert Daria (American Spraytech), Robert McDevitt (RJM Group), Fred Spohr (Condensa) and Doug Raymond (Raymound Regulatory Resources and SPRAY Regulatory Issues columnist).
Lectures will touch on all major aspects of aerosol technology, including basic techniques, propellant theory and practice, components, psysicochemical problems, quality control, regulations, toxicology and safety.
According to CfPA, this course will be of interest to professionals who wish to develop an understanding of the most current developments in aerosol technology, as well as those who are actively involved in aerosol technology, including but not limited to: chemists, engineers, scientists and technologists.
