Precision, global manufacturer of valves, actuators and other dispensing solutions across a variety of end markets, announced that Hans Van Der Looij has been appointed Regional Manager of Europe, effective immediately. Precision’s current European footprint includes facilities in Germany, France, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom. Mr. Van Der Looij brings considerable consumer packaged goods and packaging operations experience to Precision, and will report to President and Chief Executive Officer, Doug Hind.
Prior to joining Precision, Mr. Van Der Looij spent 15 years at SCA Packaging Group of DS Smith, a leading international provider of recycled paper and plastic packaging, most recently serving as Managing Director of Plastics Europe. Before joining SCA, Mr. Van Der Looij worked for over a decade at leading consumer packaged goods companies Reckitt Benckiser and Unilever, across various aerosol factory and production management roles.

Markus Raab, who previously served as Precision’s Regional Manager of Europe, was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer last year. Precision is a portfolio company of Peak Rock Capital, a middle-market private equity firm that invests in companies in North America and Europe.
