Lindal Group announced the formation of its Customer Technical Services (CTS) team, an elite unit dedicated to helping customers accelerate development of brand-building packaging solutions.
Lindal’s CTS is headed by Tony Harman, the company’s Managing Director/Sales Director. According to Harman, the unit’s rapid deployment capability and decades of industry expertise will give customers a competitive advantage by enhancing packaging quality and, importantly, speeding commercialization. For example, Harman said that the time it takes to specify all-new valves can be reduced to days, not weeks. This elevates the company’s value proposition as an industry-leading, customer-facing, one-stop source of aerosol solutions.
The Lindal Group develops and manufactures valves, actuators and spray caps for aerosol products used in pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food applications.
“The role of CTS is six-fold: technical support, component specification, product recommendations, regulatory issues, sampling, and customer questions. The unit works in close coordination with two key company entities, LINDAL’S new Global Innovation Center, and its Business Development Team, further enhancing supply chain efficiencies,” Harman said.
“Our GIC handles new projects and innovation, while our Business Development Team acts as the sales side of the GIC. With the addition of the CTS, ours is a powerful, customer-facing organization that speeds package development and delivers unsurpassed aerosol knowledge,” Harman said. “It’s all part of our quest to help our customers meet their goals and anticipate tomorrow’s market needs.”
Lindal’s GIC is based in Briey, France, and is a true Center of Excellence. The facility is home to the company’s arsenal of collective expertise and capabilities and provides customers with access to best practices and institutional knowledge.
Lindal Group’s Global Innovation Center is designed as an R&D hub. Its strong center is where all research and advanced development activities are based. Local satellites focus upon pre-defined technological fields with a regional context. In this way, optimal local market expertise is assured.
In related news, Lindal Group recently announced that Georges Bouille, the internationally-renowned aerosol industry expert on Bag-on-Valve (BoV) technology, joined the Lindal Group as a consultant. Known throughout the industry as ‘Mr. BoV,’ Bouille has developed breakthrough aerosol technology for the Aptar group and EP Spray Systems for many years and delivers a wealth of technical knowledge to Lindal’s customers around the world.
