The Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) is expanding its Government Relations & Public Policy team. Owen Caine, currently Director of State Government Relations at the Toy Association, joined CSPA on June 5 as Executive VP of Government Relations & Public Policy. He will report to CSPA President & CEO, Steve Caldeira. Caine formerly worked for CSPA from 2013-2016 and returned after helping to expand the state government relations efforts for the Toy Association.
Power
CSPA is promoting Kristin Power, currently VP, State Affairs, to Senior VP of State Government Relations & Public Policy. Since 2010, Power has played an increasingly integral role in driving CSPA’s state government relations and public policy strategy focused on California and the western U.S.
Also being promoted is Pete Vujovich, currently Manager, State Affairs, to Director, State Government Relations & Public Policy. He is responsible for all state government relations and public policy for the eastern U.S. He joined CSPA in 2016.
Kevin Serafino will join CSPA as Director, Government Relations & Public Policy where he will primarily focus on state government relations, while also supporting federal and regulatory efforts. He was previously Senior Manager, Government Relations & Public Policy at the International Franchise Association (IFA).

Additionally, CSPA is promoting Tim Brown, currently Regulatory Counsel & Director of International Affairs, to VP, Regulatory Counsel & International Affairs, where he will assume the division staff executive position for the Antimicrobial Products Division, as well as continuing his support of the association’s Cleaning Products Division and his international responsibilities.
