The new Wave products were formally launched at the Quasem Industries Conference 2018 held at Krishibid Institute Bangladesh (KIB) in Dhaka to celebrate the name change of the company.

Recently, Quasem Drycell Ltd, one of the country’s leading battery manufacturers with the brand name Sunlight Battery, changed its name to Quasem Industries Ltd as it has been expanding its operations to include various other products and service sectors.

Quasem Industries Managing Director and CEO Tasvir Ul Islam, Director Sameed Quasem, and Chief Operating Officer Mahbubul Alam spoke on the occasion, where Chairperson Anwarul Islam and Director Dr Reyan Anis were present.

Addressing the conference, Sameed said any products in pressurized tin cans in the Bangladesh market are coming from abroad as imported items.

“So it is a new journey for Bangladesh in this sector. As we are graduating from a least developed country to a developing country, we would like to supply locally made lifestyle products to our consumers at reasonable prices,” he added.

The conference was attended by distributors from all over the country and representatives from other businesses related to Quasem Industries.
