NAA advises on Multi-Purpose Lubricants compliance deadline of April 1

Written on: March 27, 2019 by SprayTM

On July 1, 2019, the new volatile organic compound (VOC) limit for Multi-purpose Lubricants becomes effective.  The new limit will be 10% VOC or the new compliance option of 0.45 maximum incremental reactivity (MIR) with a maximum VOC content of 25%.

To be able to use this Compliance Option, you need to register your product 90 days in advance.  That means by April 1, 2019.

Doug Raymond of Raymond Regulatory Resources (3R), LLC  has prepared a form to make this registration process easier.  The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has stated that filling out this form will satisfy the Reporting Requirement.

Deadline is Monday, April 1, 2019
