Dan Renn passed away on Feb. 23, 2020. Before retiring, Renn was employed as Sales Manager for Shield Packaging, Regional Sales Manager for Bridgeview Aerosols and Sales Manager for KIK/CCL.
Renn was an integral part of the Southern Aerosol Technical Association (SATA), serving on various committees—Membership, Communications, Nomination, Industry Relations, Historical and Conference Planning. He was instrumental in bringing the Aerosol Can Races to the Gwinnett Braves, an MiLB team in Georgia.
In addition to several terms as SATA VP, he served as President in 1988 and again in 2009–2010. In 2012, Renn was presented the SATA Founders’ Award along with a Lifetime SATA Membership.
