Unilever, Tubex and Neuman Aluminium have partnered to develop and manufacture the aerosol can for Rexona Recycled Refreshed. The can consists of a patented aluminum alloy 
and 25% post-consumer recycled (PCR) material. The use of alloy and slight change of shape makes Rexona Recycled Refreshed 14% lighter than its predecessor.
The can is also only partially (50%) lacquered inside to save additional resources, and uses a volatile organic compound-free (VOC-free) internal powder coating. The overspray of the powder coating is also reused.
“Alloy, use of PCR, partially internal lacquered, internal powder coating and fourteen per cent lighter than its predecessor – this can is sustainability at its best,” said Leo Werdich, Managing Director at Tubex.
Aluminum can be infinitely recycled.
