On June 13, the European Aerosol Federation (FEA) and international exhibition organizer Easyfairs announced a major, new partnership to develop the future of ADF—the annual aerosol and dispensing systems exhibition.
Under the agreement, FEA will play a crucial role in developing the conference program for the event, as well as marketing the exhibition to visitors and potential exhibitors through its extensive global network . FEA and ADF will also collaborate on the future development of their respective awards programs.
FEA is a federation of 28 national aerosol industry associations both in Europe and around the world who represent the full supply chain for aerosol development and production. It has, since 1959, organized the FEA Global Aerosol Events as a biennial event.
The 30th edition of the exhibition and conference will take place on Sept. 21–22 at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL) in Lisbon, Portugal. From January 2023, the event will be combined with ADF in Paris to create a single annual event focused on the aerosol and dispensing supply chain.
Alain D’haese, FEA Secretary General, said, “FEA is delighted of this new partnership with Easyfairs in the context of the ADF
event in Paris, France. Our goal is to combine forces to continue providing key insights to a broad industry audience as well as to create additional networking opportunities within our value chain on an annual basis. The ADF team will be present at FEAerosol2022, -the 30th edition of our exhibition and conference on 21-22 of September 2022, in Lisbon, Portugal to celebrate this partnership and answer questions you can have. This will also be an outstanding opportunity to network again in-person with the global aerosol community. I am eager to meet you there.”
Urs Hauser, FEA President, noted, “We are very pleased to join forces and combine our reach together with ADF and Easyfairs. The aim of FEA is to provide essential insights in key issues affecting the aerosol industry and to create outstanding networking opportunities to brand owners, fillers and suppliers.
“Thanks to this partnership with ADF and Easyfairs we have the opportunity to offer the aerosol community an annual event where they can network and discuss the latest trends in a wider business environment.
“The ADF team will also be present at FEAerosol2022—the 30th edition of our exhibition and conference on Sept. 21–22 at the FIL in Lisbon, Portugal. It will be a perfect moment and destination to celebrate this partnership together with the worldwide aerosol community,” Hauser concluded.
Matt Benyon, CEO of Easyfairs UK & Global, said,“It is a great honor for us to be working with the FEA and we look forward to a long and successful partnership. We share a mission to develop and drive innovation in the global aerosol market and we will be more effective in fulfilling this mission by working together and sharing our expertise and resources.
“The FEA Global Aerosol Events has a wonderful heritage and we are looking forward to combining its best elements with the best elements of ADF to create a truly world-class event for the aerosol and dispensing market,” Benyon stated.
ADF launched in 2007 and is part of Paris Packaging Week, which attracts more than 600 exhibitors and 10,000 participants each year.
Paris Packaging Week also includes the events PCD, a global innovation event for perfume and cosmetics packaging, and PLD, the leading event for design and innovation in premium and luxury drinks packaging.
