Procter & Gamble’s (P&G) Microban 24 Multi-Purpose Cleaner is the first consumer product registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to provide 24 hours of residual antibacterial and antiviral defense against 99.9% of bacteria and viruses (EPA Reg No. 4091-21-3573). A third party lab has verified the 24-hour effect, and the EPA conducted a data review. P&G notes this protection also lasts through multiple touches.
Prior, Microban 24 Multi-Purpose Cleaner was registered by the EPA to kill viruses, including COVID-19, in just 60 seconds and was included on EPA List N.
