Henkel has joined the UK Aerosol Recycling Initiative. Spearheaded by Alupro, the national program aims to increase awareness and education to drive an uplift in aerosol recycling rates.
With a legacy of more than 145 years, Henkel provides sustainable brands and technologies across the world. The company’s portfolio includes well-known hair care products, laundry detergents and adhesives, such as Loctite, Jeyes, Schwarzkopf and Dylon Dyes.
Launched in September 2022, the UK Aerosol Recycling Initiative is targeting a national aerosol recycling rate of 50% by 2030. Alongside working to improve consumer education and establish an accurate baseline, the group recently collaborated to launch a pioneering roadmap to guide progress towards achieving this goal.
