Mauser Packaging Solutions has announced that through its subsidiary, BWAY Corp., the company will acquire Taenza, a Mexico-based manufacturer of tin-steel aerosol cans, general line cans, sanitary cans and steel pails.
The acquisition is expected to provide Mauser with growth opportunity in the Mexican paint and specialty market, as well as add additional manufacturing locations, capacity and capabilities, the company said. Mauser expects the deal to close by April 2024; total consideration for the transaction will be a minimum of $99 million.
