The Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) announced that the Aerosol Recycling Initiative White Paper is officially live. Readers can access it here.
According to the HCPA, the White Paper is a year’s worth of data and analysis that helps demonstrate the recyclability of the aerosol can.
The HCPA noted in a statement, “While we are very proud of this work, there is still more to be done to reach the two 2030 goals that were established at the start of this Initiative:
(1) Achieve at least an 85% recycling access rate for all aerosol cans; and
(2) Label at least 90% of aerosol cans as recyclable with message about how to properly do so. We now move into phase two of the campaign.”
