Salvalco announced it has further extended its Eco-Valve range, bringing to market a new metered dose valve called Eco-Dose.
According to the company, the valve is particularly suitable for the air freshener market and is already experiencing high interest from a number of brands.
The next member of the Eco-Valve family, the Eco-Dose provides a pre-defined volume of product regularly and consistently, to empty the product from the can/container. Unlike Eco-Valve, which is a continuous spray valve, Eco-Dose is designed for use in automatic air-freshener products in both commercial and retail settings.
Eco-Dose also represents a new benchmark in reducing hydrocarbon and volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions in the air-care category, said Salvalco. Its patented technology produces a sustained, consistent dose through the life of the product, helping customers to meet their sustainability targets.
Peter Shaw, Managing Director of Salvalco said, “We are delighted to bring to market our new revolutionary metered dose technology, and the first effective metered dose valve capable of using inert gas.”
Shaw added that Salvalco has already received growing interest from the market for the valve.
