The Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) announced that Sami Ki will be joining the organization on December 8, 2024, as Senior Manager of Sustainability & Product Stewardship.
Ki has more than a decade of experience in procurement and product development in the fashion industry, as well as a Master of Business Administration in Sustainability, with a focus on sustainable supply chains, waste reduction and circular models. As the Senior Manager of Sustainability & Product Stewardship, she will be responsible for managing the Association’s sustainability programs and tracking sustainability activities that impact the household and commercial products industry at the Federal and State levels. She will report to Molly Blessing, VP of Sustainability & Product Stewardship.
“HCPA is committed to ensuring that the household and commercial products industry continues to move forward with practices that protect people and the planet, consider impacts across a product’s life cycle, and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions,” said Steve Caldeira, President & CEO, HCPA.
“Growing the Association’s Sustainability & Product Stewardship department is one way we are proactively demonstrating this commitment to create cleaner, healthier, and more productive lives for all Americans. I am confident that Sami will champion the sustainability initiatives that we are currently pursuing and contribute meaningful expertise to driving innovation in this space.”
The HCPA also announced that Joe Ambrosi will also join the organization in January 2025 as Manager of Government Relations & Public Policy, reporting to Mike Gruber, Executive VP of Government Relations & Public Policy.
Ambrosi recently graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, where he studied political science, and interned with HCPA for the last two summers. He will assist with advocacy
and public affairs at both the Federal and State levels.
