Boris Schaefer has been appointed the 77th President of the Cosmetic Industry Buyers & Suppliers (CIBS) for 2025.

CIBS is a professional organization that connects buyers and suppliers in the cosmetic, personal care and packaging industries, promoting networking, education and collaboration to drive innovation and growth. Schaefer has more than 25 years in the cosmetic packaging industry and heads U.S. sales and operations for the TNT Group, a supplier of primary and secondary packaging solutions.
Schaefer’s presidency will focus on key initiatives designed to drive growth and engagement within CIBS. His goals include expanding membership, attracting younger professionals and hosting diverse events, including a Brazilian-themed luncheon on February 26, a German Beerhall party on April 2, and a Kentucky Derby-themed Ladies Day on May 2.
“We’re committed to creating meaningful networking opportunities and fostering lasting relationships that will strengthen our industry,” said Schaefer.
“2025 will be a year of growth, success, and fun for our members,” he added.
