Thomas W. Donaldson, former President of the Western Aerosol Information Bureau (WAIB) and Board member, died on April 17, 2018 at the age of 90.

He was born in New York City in 1928, and grew up in Park Ridge, New Jersey. Donaldson graduated from Georgia Tech University with a degree in chemical engineering. He also earned a master’s degree from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cherry C. Donaldson; son James and daughter Martha.

“Tom was a longtime member of the aerosol industry family and a President and Board Member of the WAIB,” the organization commented in a statement.

“He gave back to the aerosol industry community with many years of service to the WAIB. He was an inspiration to all of us and his kind thoughtful dedication to the WAIB and his fellowship with us is appreciated and missed.”
