Coster Group has expanded its Barlborough, UK injection molding production site as part of its growth strategy. The plant, which outputs 400 million valves per year, will grow an additional 4,000 square meters for a total area of 8,500 square meters and will also include an assembly department for spray-caps and special actuators and spray pumps. This will result in the closure of the Stevenage, UK plant in September where such production has been taking place. Staff members of the Stevenage plant have been offered positions at Barlborough, which was built in 2013. Some product lines will also be moved to Coster’s Zwolle, Netherlands plant.
