Thursday November 15, 2018 is the 21st annual America Recycles Day. The national 
recycling rate of glass, paper and other items has increased over the past 30 years, said “America Recycles Day” organizer Keep America Beautiful, which is sponsored by companies such as Keurig Dr. Pepper, H&M, Northrup Grumman and International Bottled Water Association. The current recycling rate is 34%. Empty aerosol cans, both aluminum and steel, are recyclable.
