The Cosmetic Industry Buyers & Suppliers (CIBS) association met in early December at Bond 45 in New York City. At the luncheon, a $2,500 scholarship was presented to FIT student Jacqueline Goodspeed by CIBS scholarship co-chairs Annette Saenger and Ukachi Anonyuo. The scholarship was given in memory of long-time and beloved CIBS member and Barlan executive Jim Slowey, who passed away in April. Luisa Kamelhar, VP of Baralan, was also present. CIBS also inducted a record-breaking 61 members into the association.
