Cassandra Taylor of Nexreg Compliance, Inc, will provide an overview of the regulations for poison centre notification in Europe including the new information requirements according Annex VIII to CLP regulation, which is expected to come into effect January 1st, 2020. She is scheduled for 10:30-11:15 am on Thursday, September 26 at SATA’s fall meeting in Hilton Head, SC.
Topics explored in this talk will include duty holder obligations, notification formats, product categorization codes, and how to generate a UFI. The challenges of individual implementation by each member state including how member states uniquely carry out the requirements of Annex VIII will also be discussed.
