HCPA to host Aerosol Propellant Safety webinar series in November

Volunteer members of the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) have compiled information from the organization’s Aerosol Propellants: Considerations for Effective Handling in the Aerosol Plant and Laboratory Manual for a series of webinars November 16-20. The webinars will include information about:
- Shipping, receiving, storing, and handling propellants
- Compressed and soluble gas propellants
- Location and construction, ventilation, gas detection, electrical equipment, piping systems, fire prevention, and control in propellant charging and pump rooms
- Disposal of rejected aerosol containers
- Laboratory safety
These volunteer speakers will share their expertise on each section of the Manual, and is designed for both beginners and as a refresher on the safety aspects of propellants in an aerosol facility or laboratory. All sessions will be recorded and can be watched at an attendee’s convenience.
