In November, Diversified CPC International (DCPC) VP of Operations Bill Frauenheim was a featured guest speaker on four installments of a 13-chapter webinar series, which presented critical information on the transportation of aerosol propellants and safe storage and handling in the aerosol manufacturing facility and aerosol laboratory. Frauenheim opened and closed the five-day series.
The webinar series was hosted by the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) and was based on the group’s Aerosol Propellants: Considerations for Effective Handling in the Aerosol Plant and Laboratory (commonly referred to in the industry as the “Propellant Safety Manual”) that the organization first published in 1979 and is now in its fourth edition.
“We are very grateful that Bill continues to volunteer his time and share his vast knowledge and experience at our workshops and seminars,” said HCPA President & CEO Steve Caldeira. “Bill is a highly recognized and respected authority across the entire industry, having presented dozens of aerosol-related lectures and seminars across North America and in Asia. His depth of understanding and unique ability to present the subject matter in a concise and easy to understand way leaves a meaningful impact on attendees.”
Topics presented by Mr. Frauenheim as part of the November webinar series included Propellant Shipping and Receiving, Propellant Storage and Handling, Safety Seminars, and Mechanical Integrity Inspection Recommendations. The segments were also recorded and will be available to registrants online at thehcpa.org.
“I want to thank the HCPA team for the offer to participate in this and previous events, and to recognize their ongoing efforts to provide educational resources on important topics impacting household and commercial products,” Frauenheim said.
“HCPA is a force for positive change in the household and commercial products industry,” said DCPC President & CEO Bill Auriemma. “Through this strategic engagement, we can help the HCPA as a committed advocate for sound science and laws that encourage a common-sense business environment, product innovation that enables job growth, and safe environments for consumers and workers.”
