Aurena Laboratories is currently developing private label products based on Aptar Pharma’s PureHale Bag-on-Valve (BOV) Technology Platform.
PureHale is a portable, ready-to-use, cordless nebulizer-like device designed for upper respiratory care and creates a very soft, fine mist. It can be used anytime, anywhere, with no need for batteries or reservoir prefilling, is quiet and lightweight and can be used with or without a mask.
Aptar’s PureHale
Aurena Laboratories will offer Aptar Pharma’s PureHale platform for use with saline or other natural ingredient formulations to help treat upper respiratory system conditions such as coughs, colds, allergies, dry nose and throat, Aurena Laboratories said.
Aurena is also offering contract manufacturing services based on PureHale technology. In addition to respiratory treatments, PureHale can be used for new topical applications and aromatherapy.
PureHale comes in a variety of options for customization in size (30mL, 50mL, or 85mL), with interchangeable masks and mouthpiece solutions (which are reusable, easy-to-clean [dishwasher safe], and are easily adaptable for adults and children), Aurena said.
Existing BOV product lines can be easily adapted for PureHale filling with minimal parameter changes, Aurena Laboratories noted.
