International aerosol dispensing specialists LINDAL Group have named Roman Merino as its new Global Head of Customer Technical Services (CTS). Merino is based at the company’s offices in Barcelona, Spain and reports to Phil Lever, LINDAL Group’s Executive Director for Global Sales.

The  appointment marks a positive development that sees LINDAL’s CTS function operate entirely under the remit of the sales division, having previously functioned under both sales and operations departments, according to the company. The aim of the move is to develop and broaden the future capabilities of the company’s CTS and work closer with customers to help ensure cohesive and comprehensive service. The change will also help improve the collaboration between the technical functions at LINDAL, facilitating a faster turnaround on new products for customers.

Merino previously held the position of Technical Manager in the Packaging & Solar Division at Specialised Technology Resources, a solar panel encapsulation company. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree and has a focused skill set in all areas of customer technical support. He has also managed several commercial and business development activities, and has coordinated both national and European research and design projects.

“The CTS is a vital entity within the Group,” said Lever.

“Our focus to develop it further conveys the importance we place on delivering the best service possible. Roman is a firm asset to the team, his strong chemical engineering background, research and design experience and commercial acumen will undoubtedly ensure we fulfil our objectives.”

Beginning his role in May 2021, Merino has already been working closely with the sales and operations departments to ensure continuity of current CTS activities.

He commented, “It’s been a pleasure working with both the sales and operations teams. Our common goal of refining the customer journey has guided us all to a productive start.”
