Whipnotic, based in New York, NY, launched the eponymous Whipnotic—a swirled, aerosol whipped cream that dispenses an all-natural color and fruit-infused swirl with a press of the nozzle. The proprietary technology turns ordinary whipped cream into a “delicious, decadent cream for an aesthetic at-home delight straight from the fridge.”
The product—filled by Alamance Foods, Inc. and housed in a 7-oz. aerosol can from Crown—uses fresh ingredients, including real cream, natural colors and fruit flavors that are keto-friendly and gluten-free. With a touch of a button, all-natural fruit juices and flavor essences swirl together into a naturally low-sugar cream, creating a multi-sensorial, complete dessert. Flavors include Strawberry Swirl, Peach Mango, Fudge Brownie and Vanilla Salted Caramel. In addition to desserts, it can also be used in smoothies and coffee or paired with parfait and pancakes. It can be enjoyed by the spoonful or the bowlful with “endless possibilities.”
Whipnotic is made in a nut-free manufacturing facility and products are free of nuts, sesame, eggs and soy. While all ingredients are sourced from Kosher suppliers, the Whipnotic facility has yet to receive its Kosher certification. However, the company hopes to get this certification down the road.
Whipnotic is led by sisters Tracy Luckow and Lori Gitomer, along with fellow founder and adviser Elissa Harman—aka The Whipped Queens. The management team brings over four decades of branding, marketing, strategy and financial experience, according to the company, which was granted a patent for its innovative delivery system and is also a certified member of The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
“We’re putting the power of creativity at your fingertips and whipped cream is the perfect blank canvas for this highly sensorial experience,” said Luckow, CoFounder & President, who also holds a Ph.D. in Sensory Science & Nutrition.
As the world around them modernized and changed, Gitomer’s favorite night time dessert—whipped cream—stayed exactly the same, noted Whipnotic. Seeking an exciting alternative “that would flip the industry on their cans,” the company developed the patented technology designed to “shake up the whipped cream category.”
“Whipped cream is having a moment, and we’re looking forward to entering the category at such an exciting time,” enthused Gitomer, Co-Founder & CEO.
