Tubex wins German Packaging Award

The Minimalist dispenser from Tubex has won the 2023 German Packaging Award in the Designing & Processing category.

The innovation is a large part of Tubex’s sustainability strategy, said the company. The patent-pending Minimalist concept is mostly made of aluminum. The goal of Tubex‘s dispenser development was to substitute as many plastic parts as possible with aluminum to offer brands a close to monomaterial packaging (greater than 95 %).

The substitution enhances the recyclability of the entire aerosol can, and the dispenser’s design possibilities offer brands a distinguished look at the point-of-sale, Tubex said in a statement. Together with the patented alloy Neucan 3.1, which reduces the weight of the aerosol can, the Minimalist design “offers a new level of stylish, recyclable and ecological packaging.”
