Diversified CPC International, Channahon, IL, producer and distributer of propellants, hydrocarbon refrigerants and specialty gas products, has appointed David Burks as President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Bill Auriemma, who served as CEO for 25 years during his 44 years with Diversified CPC, will assume the role of Executive Chairman and remain a company shareholder. Also, he will continue to provide executive guidance to cosmetic businesses held by parent company, Sumitomo Corp. of Americas.
“Since joining us in 2018, Dave has demonstrated a strong, forward-thinking brand of leadership that aligns with our company’s vision and values,” said Auriemma.
“I’ve watched him lead with integrity, embrace inventiveness and effectively navigate the evolving dynamics of our key markets. I am excited about what’s ahead for our employees, our customers, our shareholders and the industries we serve.”
Burks joined the company as Executive VP in 2018 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2021. In 2022, he was named President & COO.

Burks came to Diversified CPC following a 25-year tenure at Worthington Industries where he held key management roles in sales, commercial and manufacturing operations. He also served on several boards and industry trade groups throughout his career. Currently he is on the Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) Board of Directors and the Alliance for Consumer Education (ACE) Board of Trustees.
