During the New York Society of Cosmetics Chemists (NYSCC) Awards Night, held in conjunction with NYSCC Supplier’s Day on May 1, Disruptive Materials was honored with the Ingredient Maverick Award for its Upsalite material.
A mesoporous magnesium carbonate, Upsalite is a multifunctional ingredient. Due to its narrow pore size distribution, Upsalite has a high surface area, enabling absorption of lipophilic and hydrophillic substances (sebum and sweat) simultaneously.
