Colep Packaging has acquired the remaining stake in ALM Envases, a Spanish aluminum aerosol manufacturer. The announcement comes two years after Colep purchased 40% of ALM.

In 2024, ALM is expected to achieve sales exceeding 16 million ($17.46 million). By 2026, the company plans to double its production capacity for aluminum aerosols and a post-acquisition expansion plan is in place, involving an investment of more than €15 million ($16.37 million). This additional investment primarily focuses on improving the infrastructure and increasing the production capacity of the Barcelona plant, enabling it to better serve the Iberian and European markets.

With over 35 years in the business, ALM produces and sells a wide range of aluminum packaging solutions, specifically for the food, beverage, cosmetics, personal care and household care industries.

“This operation, together with the recent entry into Mexico, emphasizes our vision for the aerosol segment and is aligned with the company’s growth strategy,” said Paulo Sousa, Colep Packaging CEO.

Colep Packaging’s industrial infrastructure is currently based in five locations: Vale de Cambra, Portugal; Kleszczów, Poland; Navarra and Barcelona, Spain; and Querétaro, Mexico.
