HIDALGO
Chase Products Co. Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Ernesto “Ting” Hidalgo died on Nov. 24, 2024, at the age of 73.
He was born and educated in the Philippines, earning a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Mapua University; he immigrated to the U.S. in the 1970s.
Hidalgo began his tenure at Chase in 1979 as a machine operator and was promoted to Quality Control, Technical Documentation, Production Manager and VP over the first half of his career. He held the position of Executive VP & COO for the last 20 years, and was known for his strong leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as his infectious personality and sense of humor.
