During the 2024 Unión Argentina de Aerosolistas (Union of Argentine Aerosolists or UADA) New Year’s Eve Cocktail Party in December, the organization paid tribute to Aerojet, Aerosoles Hecspi and Aerofarma, three pioneering companies in the Argentine aerosol industry that have achieved a historic milestone: Throughout more than 50 years in existence, the companies continue to be in the hands of the same families that founded them.
After an emotional introduction by UADA VP José Luis Zito, UADA President Sebastián Giráldez presented three plaques and trophy cups that encouraged the businesses to “continue winning in the long business tournament.”
Representatives of the three companies took the stage one by one to relay their experiences from the point of view of three generations of professionals at the head of these firms. These included Aerojet’s Juan Selvatici and Fernando De Luis, (son of Co-Founder Ricardo “Gallego” De Luis); Aerosoles Hecspi’s Gustavo Hetch and Rodolfo Senopoli; and Aerofarma’s Lilian Benítez and Isabel Rovillard (daughter of Aerofarma Director Gabriela Mazzeo and granddaughter of Founder Juan Mazzeo).
According to UADA, those honored greatly appreciated the gesture of recognition and called for redoubled efforts to continue the daily task of running an aerosol facility.
